ABAX STEEL successfully signed a new turnkey project, the three strands billet caster, it is the capacity of the continuous casting billet production line of Moroccan steel plant is 450,000 ton per year. Mr. Sergio, President and senior engineer of ABAX GROUP, personally participated in the design and signing of the project. This production line has increased the total number of continues casting machine billet casters in the world upwards of 220 strands, making it the 17th steel plant in Africa to manufacture steel billets.
R8m CCM continuous casting machine can produce steel billet section from 130 mm x 130 mm to 180 mm x 180 mm, which is used with 55 ton electric arc furnace in melt shop, and the bottom eccentric tapping arc furnace can provide 70 tons of molten liquid steel per hour. The billet caster is designed as 4 strands, among them 3 strands ccm as working casters, and single strand caster is reserved for standby.The turnkey project of billet caster includes ladle turret, tundish car, slag pouring, mould housing, secondary cooling section, withdrawal straightener unit, roller table, flame cutting machine, transfer area, cooling bed, packing area, etc.

All parts of billet caster must pass the strict examination before delivery, such as SGS, TUV, etc. Each turnkey project is the milestone for inspire us to do better.
